PEL Associates Receives SBIR Award From DARPA
To Develop Anti-Submarine Sensor System
Groton, CT: Dr. Morton L. Wallach, President and CEO of PEL Associates at 1084 Shennecossett Rd. announces that PEL Associates has received a Phase I SBIR $100K Award from the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency with potential follow-on to $750K.
This work sponsored by DARPA involves "Anti-Submarine Sensor/Communication Package Development" including system design, manufacturing feasibility, and proof of concept. This PEL Associates effort has contributions from Associate Walter B. Lincoln, PE and Morton L. Wallach, PhD. PEL is located at the Marine Sciences Technical Center at the University of Connecticut in Groton, CT.
PEL Associates provides technology services to industrial, marine and defense applications. Key activities focus on advanced materials and processing, frequently keyed to new designs providing innovative functionality. Other PEL activities include product and market development, process optimization, manufacturing support, technology transfer, and strategic planning.
