PEL Associates Appointed UCONN Industrial Affiliate

Groton, CT: Dr. Morton L. Wallach, President and CEO of PEL Associates at 1084 Shennecossett Rd. announces that PEL Associates has been appointed University of Connecticut Industrial Affiliate at the new Marine Science & Technology Center (MSTC). In this capacity PEL will foster joint PEL/University activities including new research & development projects in marine science & technology, and in particular where new materials and processing applications are a key ingredient.

PEL Associates provides technology services to industrial, marine and defense applications. Key activities focus on advanced materials and processing, frequently keyed to new designs providing innovative functionality. Other PEL activities include product and market development, process optimization, manufacturing support, technology transfer, and strategic planning. MSTC is a University of Connecticut academic research institute providing graduate training at the doctoral and master's degree levels via the Marine Sciences Department.
