Wallach, President and CEO of PEL Associates at 1084 Shennecossett Rd. announces that PEL Associates has filed patent applications with the United States Patent & Trademark Office entitled “Smart Polymeric Multilayered Sensors” and "Surface Renewal of Antifouling Coatings on Command".

"Smart Polymeric Multilayered Sensors" has applications in submarine detection, chemical agent identification, missile launch detection, airport, ship container, vehicle, and soldier safety. Benefits are applicable to DOD, Homeland Security, MDA, air and ground travelers.

"Surface Renewal of Antifouling Coatings on Command" has applications on ship hulls, piers, pilings, & supports, heat exchange cooling pipes, and numerous novel electrical and photonic device applications. Benefits apply to military, commercial & pleasure craft, new and expanded functions of electrical and photonic instruments, and the marine environment.
