Dr. Morton L. Wallach Honored By American Chemical Society

Groton, CT – The Board of Directors and Executive Director of the American Chemical Society (ACS) have bestowed honors to Dr. Morton L. Wallach, President of PEL Associates for his service to the Society. The ACS is the premier society of the chemical profession with over 100,000 members. Dr. Wallach & PEL Associates are located at the Marine Sciences & Technology Center at the University of Connecticut in Groton, CT.

Dr. Wallach was presented with a special service pin and a personalized badge entitling him to registration at all national and regional ACS meetings. The Directors stated: “The pin symbolizes his preeminent standing in the ACS community. The growth and progress made as a professional organization would not have been possible without the unswerving support of members like him.”

Dr. Wallach’s company PEL Associates is a growing business enterprise (http://www.pelassociates.com) providing new and novel technology and systems engineering for industrial, marine, defense and homeland security requirements. Recent activities focus on new submarine, border security, aircraft security, and chem/bio detection applications, employing advanced materials and processing, and new chemistry systems frequently keyed to new designs providing innovative functionality.
