About Morton
L. Wallach

Dr. Mort Wallach has over twenty-five years industrial
experience beginning at DuPont's Experimental Station, and ranging from resin,
film, and plastic manufacture, to consumer products, transportation and
aerospace.
His contributions include twenty-five publications, five recent
books, numerous patents, and key roles in commercial developments, such as
Kapton polyimide film, high performance composites, novel consumer products, and
engineered materials. Current work involves development of specialized
materials for various industrial, maritime and DOD projects including smart sensors,
self-renewable coatings, composites, and emergency buoyancy systems for submarines and
other vessels.
Presently, he is President of PEL Associates, an innovative
technology company providing technology services keyed to new product designs
with novel functionality. PEL serves over 200 firms involved with medical,
electrical, automotive, aerospace, marine, industrial, consumer and defense
products. Other PEL activities include product and market development, process
optimization, manufacturing support, technology transfer, and strategic
planning.
Dr. Wallach has a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Wayne State
University and was a Fulbright post-doctoral scholar. He is a member of the
American Chemical Society, The Society of Plastics Engineers, IUPAC, and Sigma
Xi. Dr. Wallach is affiliated with: Teltech Network of Experts, The CT
Technology Council, University of Connecticut, The Fulbright Association, and
The Licensing Executives Society. He is cited in Who's Who in Polymers and
Plastics and the recent 58th edition of Marquis Who'sWho in America..
